Belcanto will be competed at The Manchester Amateur Choral Competition 2019 on Sunday the 3rd March. Tickets were available from the RNCM website from Saturday 1st December 2018 at 11am. Please see the blog post dated 3rd March to find out how Belcanto placed!

Belcanto welcomed our special choral friends Jubilate (www.jubilatesingers.org.uk) from Harrow to join us for an evening of music to suit all at the Salvation Army, Rockingham Road, Kettering. Jubilate featured the musical director Sarah Stroh, pianist Simon Hester, oboe Mary Pilbery and percussionist Dan Hester. Belcanto is conducted by Barry Clark and supported on piano by Edward Pick. Tickets were priced £7.00, made available by Alison Wise and the concert commenced at 7

Congratulations to all the performers and attendees for helping to make the Cransley Charity concert a huge success. The audience was able to raise over £4,500, a fantastic and valuable contribution to such a worthy cause. Everyone enjoyed a magnificent display of musical talents, featuring Belcanto Ladies and Masquerade Youth choirs, vocalist Faryl Smith, Thomas Fountain on trumpet / cornet and Robert Clark & Kate Shipway on piano. Barry Clark and the ladies of the Belcanto choir would like to wish Heather and Liam a life of future happiness following their beautiful ceremony at St Mary's Church, Burton Latimer. The choir performed 'Tuimbe', 'A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square', 'Gaelic Blessing' and 'All You Need is Love' as the happy couple left the church.

The Virtuosi GUS Band presented a Christmas Concert for Kettering with Belcanto & Hawthorn Community Primary School Choir. The concert took place at 7.30pm on Saturday 15th December 2018 at the Church of Saint Peter & Paul, Market Place, Kettering, NN16 0AL. Tickets were priced at £10 for adults, £5 for children and are available from Kafe Bloc, Sheep Street. There were two performances for our annual Christmas concert, at 5pm & 7pm in The Church of St. Nicholas Owen, Burton Latimer on Saturday 8th December 2018. The 5pm concert had a special visitor and is especially popular with the children who we invite to sing along with us. Mince pies and mulled wine were served on arrival. Merry Christmas!

Belcanto performed at St Andrews Church Brigstock on Saturday 3rd November 7.30pm in the church. Tickets were priced at £10 and included a glass of wine and refreshments. Thank you to all who attended our charity concert at Rothwell Holy Trinity Parish Church on Saturday. You helped to raise in excess of £900 to support Alzheimer's Society. Tickets were priced at £7 and the concert took place at 7pm.
