Belcanto performed at the Manchester Annual Choral Competition 2026 on Sunday February 1st. A brilliant performance placed Belcanto as Runners Up. Further details can be found on the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) website about the event and results .

Belcanto achieved first place in the Llangollen International Eisteddfod with 92 marks, going on to perform in the televised evening performance 'Choir of the World'. Congratulations to all the choir members and supporters! Members of Belcanto also performed with Masquarade in the Open Class category.

Belcanto achieved 1st place in the Ladies Class at the North Wales Choral Festival 2022 in Llandudno on March the 6th!

Update - Llangollen Eisteddfod has been postponed until 2021. We will look forward to competing next year, and will post updated details when they become available.

Belcanto were successfully placed as a Runner Up at the Manchester Amateur Choral Competition (MACC) held at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) on Sunday 3rd March. The 2019 contest boasted a varied collection of 23 competing choirs and barbershops. Congratulations to the winners, Meantime Chorus, and fellow Runner Up, Impromptu. Belcanto performed four songs in a 15 minute time slot supported on piano by Edward Pick.

Belcanto will be competed at The Manchester Amateur Choral Competition 2019 on Sunday the 3rd March. Tickets were available from the RNCM website from Saturday 1st December 2018 at 11am. Please see the blog post dated 3rd March to find out how Belcanto placed!
